ASH HORN
Ash has the role of building maintenance and building conversion projects. Alongside everyday maintenance Ash is upgrading the environmental performance and quality of the offices as they are refurbished. Away from the farm, Ash is interested in motorcycles, old and new.
CHRISTOF BECKER
Christof joined the Team in 2025 as a additional member of the maintenance team. However, his extraordinary metal work and welding skills soon found him focussed on prop building for our event enterprise The Pop Up Farm.

IAN PIGOTT
Managing Partner of Thrales End, Ian started his career broking commodities. Ian and his wife Gilly are responsible for Thrales End’s overall business strategy and development. Ian has a number of roles away from the business where he applies his interest and expertise in reconnecting young people with the land and communicating the importance of farming and rural Britain to a wider audience.
JOHN DENNY
John looks after the landscaping and general tidiness of Thrales End’s communal areas. John has worked at Thrales End for a number of years. Away from the farm, John enjoys gardening and plants.

TED ALLEN-STEVENS
Ted is farm manager, oversees day-to-day enterprise operations and all farming activities at Thrales End. Ted has also introduced as number of soil and crop research programmes at Thrales End. Ted is a keen squash player and skier.
VANESSA CONNOR
Office Manager at Thrales End, Vanessa deals with tenant liaison and runs the farm office. In her spare time, Vanessa is involved in the local community and is interested in the sheep sector.
